This location is a special place on a favorite hike we enjoy every summer. High up near the foot of a glacier, overlooking the valley, the delicate alpine meadows of this narrow cirque are a wonderful place to rest after a long climb up past a waterfall and thru an old forest burn. Look out for the bears which also frequent this area!
I really enjoyed experimenting with various mixed media materials to create texture in the large rocks and and stream. The whispering brook recounts the secrets of the early explorers as the rock piles echo the avalanches and large rock that the changing seasons help to erode from the surrounding mountains
